The Breakers are welcoming the start of the first double-header of their Australian basketball league season tonight

The Breakers are welcoming the start of the first double-header of their Australian basketball league season tonight

The North Shore club host the Cairns Taipans in Auckland, before playing Brisbane away on Sunday.

The Breakers currently sit fifth on the competition ladder with a two and three record.

Head coach Kevin Braswell says the double-header's come at a good time, because they have to bring intensity in quick succession.

    Tip-off's at 7:50pm.
