Lockie Ferguson pays tribute to former NZ pace bowlers Andre Adams and Shane Bond

The right-armer has been the Black Caps highest wicket-taker with 11 at an average of 12.81 in the drawn series against Pakistan.

This morning's final match was abandoned due to rain after Ferguson had taken his best ODI figures of five for 45.

He worked closely with Adams at Auckland before he moved to New South Wales -and has been mentored by Bond in recent weeks with New Zealand A.

Ferguson says they were able to work out ways to attack batsmen in conditions where you don't get the pace and bounce of home.
