Jarred Thompson is on his way back New Zealand, after falling ill on holiday on Fiji, where the 27-year-old was celebrating being in remission from testicular cancer.
Thompson was admitted to hospital last Thursday after a headache quickly turned into a potentially life-threatening condition as pressure built on his brain.
More than 27-thousand dollars was raised for his medical evacuation through a Givealittle page.
Thompson will land in Auckland tonight and be taken straight to Auckland Hospital.
