A criminal lawyer says court staff can't be blamed for the struggle their escalating strike action is bringing

Staff at Auckland and Manukau District Courts are undertaking a ban on serving, checking and signing sentencing documents.
Lawyer Steve Cullen says court staff are the meat in a sandwich in a situation that needs to be sorted out.
He says it's not satisfactory for users to have limited access to justice, but it's also not satisfactory for staff to be treated the way they are.
