Hospital pharmacists in the upper South Island are walking off the job today

The APEX members are striking for 24 hours, over a pay dispute with Nelson Marlborough DHB.
The union says the recruitment and retention of pharmacy staff has been a major issue, particularly at Blenheim's Wairau Hospital.
It says it's also yet to receive a settlement offer, after a year of negotiation.
