The Breakers will lock horns with a very familiar face for the first time when they host Melbourne United in the Australian Basketball League tonight
16 November 2018
The match is the first time new Melbourne assistant coach and former Breakers player and mentor Paul Henare will come up against his old club in any capacity.
Henare left at the end of last season.
Breakers coach Kevin Braswell says himself and Henare talk most days so he's looking forward to the contest.
He says it'll be great to see Henare and sit down and talk as well as Melbourne head coach Dean Vickerman who he knew well when he was a player.
Tip-off from Invercargill's at 7:50pm.
