Retired rugby league great Johnathan Thurston has taken an indirect dig at the Warriors culture when giving his thoughts on Shaun Johnson's future

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The Kiwis halfback's future with the Warriors is up in the air after he was recently given the green light to test his value on the open market by the club he's been with for the past eight seasons.

Johnathan Thurston says it'd be a massive loss for the Warriors if Johnson was to explore his options and go to another club.

He says if Johnson goes to a club with a strong culture, he could certainly soar to the heights he's been expected to.

Johnathan Thurston feels the Sydney Roosters have the kind of culture in which Shaun Johnson could excel.
