The full field has been announced with the 19 direct acceptances inside the world's top 58 which compares to 48 for Sydney.
But tournament director Karl Budge has eight top 30 ranked players compared to five for Sydney.

World number ten John Isner is the ASB Classic top seed and the only top ten ranked player featuring in an ATP tournament the week before the Australian Open.
