Organisers have announced the first opportunity for challenger teams and defender to line up against each other will be in Sardinia next October.
The regatta will be the first of two World Series events next year, with three to follow in 2020, then a regatta in Auckland at Christmas, ahead of the Prada Cup and the America's Cup early the following year.
Deadline for entries for the 2021 America's Cup close at 5pm this afternoon with several new challengers expected to enter.
