Mahe Drysdale's planning to embark on a fine-tuning mission over the festive season, with the 2020 Olympics still at the forefront of his mind

The 40-year-old's had a trying year on the water, which saw him fail to secure the single sculls seat ahead of Robbie Manson and take a position in the men's quad instead.
Drysdale's quipped he's hoping for a lot of rain on Lake Karapiro this summer so the fizz boats stay away.
He says he's doing a lot of miles at the moment and trying to build a base, then will look to work on his speed which should put him in good stead.
