The Warriors skipper is keeping faith in his youngsters following the departure of Shaun Johnson to the Cronulla Sharks

Warriors general manager of football Brian Smith says the club have gone backwards in terms of competitiveness since losing Johnson.

Young halves Chanel Harris-Tavita, Adam Keighran and Hayze Perham shape as the current options to partner Blake Green next season.


However, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck still believes they can challenge for a premiership.

He says they spoke about other players stepping in in the past when Johnson was absent and doing a good job, so he feels that can be repeated.
