    Tai Wesley's been given a financial slap on the wrist by the Australian Basketball League


    The Breakers forward has been fined $1000 with $250 suspended for two years, after making comments towards a referee during the recent loss to Perth.

    Wesley pled guilty when fronting the tribunal this morning.

    When asked if his frustration came from being a competitor, this was his response.

    He says he might have just been an idiot instead.

    The Breakers face the Sydney Kings at home on Sunday.
