Patrick Tarawa was driving through the Northland town of Kaikohe in January, when Christopher Vujcich cut in front of him - causing him to brake sharply.
He confronted Vujcich and after an argument, punched him twice.
Vujcich to fall backwards on to a concrete path and later died in hospital.
Christopher Vujcich's children read tearful victim impact statements during sentencing today in the High Court at Whangarei.
