Shaun Johnson's delivered a passionate denial that he's only jumped across the ditch for the money

Shaun Johnson's delivered a passionate denial that he's only jumped across the ditch for the money

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The Kiwis halfback was last week granted a release from the final year of his deal with the Warriors, before signing with the Cronulla Sharks.

Johnson says if it was all about the money then he would have stayed in Auckland and seen out the last year of his contract.

Phoenix captain Andrew Durante hopes coach Mark Rudan will bolster the squad with another import in the January transfer window.

Striker Roy Krishna has become a New Zealand citizen, and Durante says it frees up one of the five import spots.

    Bat, bat, bat.

That's the approach the Black Caps are looking to take into day four of the decisive third cricket test against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi tonight.

New Zealand's 26 for two in its second inning, still trailing by 48 runs.
