A multi-million dollar Southland venison plant is up and running

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has officially opened Alliance's almost ten-million-dollar facility.

Alliance CEO David Surveyor says it's a world-class, modern plant - reflecting New Zealand's position as a leading and innovative processor.

The venison plant began processing in September... employing about 70 people at peak capacity.
