The Indian middle-order batsman has top scored with 123 as the visitors finished the day on 250 for nine.
Pujara says while they should've batted a lot better collectively, Australia bowled well in the first two sessions.
He says he knew he had to stay patient and wait for the loose ball, and he feels the Aussie bowlers bowled in the right areas, but it would've nice to see more backbone from the openers.
