A man who was extradited to Darwin yesterday over sex offences dating back 20 years after going on the run in New Zealand ... will apply for bail

It's alleged between 1998 and 2000, the now 43-year-old, sexually assaulted a woman and a girl who was under 16 in Darwin.
He's been charged with sexual intercourse without consent, aggravated assault, indecent dealing with a child and gross indecency with a child under 16 years.
The man, who has Maori tribal tattoos on his arms, appeared in Darwin Local Court on Friday.
A bail hearing will be held this afternoon.
