New Plymouth police have arrested a man in relation to a robbery at Pizza Hut last month

The restaurant was robbed by another man armed with a machete, who cut a staff member on the hand when they tried to stop him.
He ran off with stolen cash and got into a waiting car.
Detective Pat Tongi says the man arrested was waiting in the car and is now remanded in custody.
He says police are still searching for the man who robbed the store.
