Kiwi freeskier Miguel Porteous has claimed a silver medal at the FIS Freeski halfpipe world cup in Copper Mountain

Porteous put down a marker of 93.75 on his first run to take the lead, with the score strong enough to maintain second by the end and claim his first World Cup medal.
His brother Nico finished fourth with a score of 88 flat.
