67-year-old French national, Pierre Naville was last seen launching from Emmdale airstrip, 100 kilometres east of Wilcannia, with seven other paragliders yesterday afternoon.
The other pilots landed safely and have been reunited with their ground crew.
But police are appealing for public help to locate Mr Naville, with concerns over his welfare due to hot weather conditions.
