A new poll suggests most New Zealanders think medicinal cannabis should be allowed for more than just palliative relief

The Horizon Research poll, commissioned by Helius Therapeutics, has found that 68 percent think it should be allowed for chronic pain.
As well, 65 percent think its use should be allowed for sleep disorders, and 58 percent for cancer.
The Government's bill allowing for use for palliative relief, is due to pass its final reading tomorrow.
Executive director Paul Manning hopes MPs will agree to last minute changes that give the industry more details.
