China's consumer price index, a main gauge of inflation, rose 2.2 per cent year- on-year in November

Data from China's National Bureau of Statistics show the index dropped from 2.5-per-cent growth in October.
Food prices rose 2.5 per cent and health care costs climbed 2.6 per cent.
China's producer price index, which reflects the costs of goods at the factory gate, rose 2.7 per cent year-on-year in November, down from 3.3 per cent in October.
China's economy is under pressure from a protracted trade war with the United States.
