The Disability Support Network chief executive says there's no quick fix to systematic under funding

A new report shows support services for disabled New Zealanders are significantly under funded by the Government - and the situation is getting worse.
It shows the costs of providing support for disabled people - including housing, electricity and wages - have far outweighed the funding increases of the last decade.
Garth Bennie says he has low expectations for prompt change.
He says this problem has been growing for over a decade so he's not expecting it to be fixed in one budget cycle.
But Bennie says he'd like to a see a start made next year to close the gap.
