    Australian Rugby league star Jarryd Hayne will fight sexual assault charges


    The 30-year-old sat quietly with his mother and manager as he faced a New South Wales court for the first time over the alleged incident in Newcastle.

    Hayne was charged with aggravated sexual assault and inflicting actual bodily harm after he handed himself into police last month.
