Will Young's a chance to become Black Caps test player 276

Will Young's a chance to become Black Caps test player 276

The Central Districts batsman's been named in the 13-man squad for the two test series against Sri Lanka.

Young's been a shining light for the New Zealand A team, scoring two hundreds in his last four games for the side.

Selector Gavin Larsen says it shows the value of the development team.

Young effectively replaces Tom Blundell while Ajaz Patel's the lone spinner, leaving Ish Sodhi and Will Somerville to return to their domestic sides.
