    Ever the gambler, former New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum has opted for the maximum base price ahead of the Indian Premier League auction next Tuesday


    He and Corey Anderson have listed themselves in bracket of nine players at approximately $400,000.

    Thirteen New Zealanders, outside of those already contracted, are chancing their arm.

    Martin Guptill and Lockie Ferguson are listed at a minimum of $200,000.

    Central Districts bowler Blair Tickner has the lowest base rate of $40,000.
