Rowing New Zealand boss Simon Peterson denies an internal review should have impacted on their taxpayer funding for the Olympic cycle

The sport's governing body was reported to have faced accusations from athletes that the organisation put success over wellbeing.
But Peterson says that wasn't the case, nor should that affect their funding.
He says the review had nothing to do with results, and was focussed on the organisation in a mid-Olympic cycle analysis.
Rowing will continue to receive 5.1 million dollars from High Performance Sport New Zealand next year.
