Cameron McGregor's relieved himself from his role as chairman of the Warriors ahead of the new year

McGregor's immediately stepped down to become deputy chair, with Warriors board member Rob Croot appointed to step up as the NRL club's new chairman
Croot is managing director of Autex Industries, who in May became part-owners of the Warriors, alongside the Carlaw Heritage Trust, who Cameron McGregor will remain chairman of.
McGregor has also resigned from his post as chairman of Auckland Rugby League.
