Foul trouble led to another loss for the New Zealand Breakers in the Australian Basketball League
31 December 2018
The Breakers have been beaten 109-98 to the 36ers in Adelaide, conceding 36 points off free throws while only scoring 17 themselves.
Assistant coach Mike Fitchett says the free throws are a big reason why they lost, and they need to improve their defensive discipline.
He says Adelaide drove at them and they weren't able to neutralise it.
The Breakers face the 36ers again on Friday.
