Frustration is growing amongst some Dunedin residents unable to return to their homes

Frustration is growing amongst some Dunedin residents unable to return to their homes

Six St Clair properties are off limits since being evacuated last month, after a large slip and cracking was found under one of the Allandale Road houses.

Displaced resident Johanna Kinvig is frustrated by the lack of communication from both the Dunedin City Council and EQC.

She says she's heard nothing about how they're going to fix the problem - or any timeframe.

But the council's Neil Mcleod says they've been in regular contact with owners ... who can only go home once engineers have determined it safe.
