The former Australian and Queensland captain will reportedly announce tomorrow he's staying with the Melbourne Storm, ending months of uncertainty over his future.
It's thought the veteran hooker wanted a two-year deal and the club preferred a one-year contract, contributing to the delay of his re-signing.
Preparing for his 18th season - all with the same club - Smith will likely become the first player to play 400 NRL games.
