Removing tobacco products from dairies would curb security fears and help people beat their addictions

This from Maori public health organisation Hapai Te Hauora.
It wants to limit the sale of tobacco to supermarkets and specialised stores only.
It comes as tax on tobacco increased by another 10 per cent at the new year and as dairies face brazen thefts.
Tobacco control advocacy general manager Mihi Blair says the move would bring health and security benefits.
She says dairies wouldn't have to worry as much about security or the fear of being robbed.
