They've reverted to the green and canary yellow threads of Allan Border's 1986 side that beat India in the World Series Cup.
New Zealand failed to make the finals that year, but dismissed Australia for 70 in Adelaide to win by what still remains a record 206-run victory against a top-10 ranked side.
The latest three-match one-day series starts on Saturday.
