Timaru police are investigating a gang fight that's left three people with stab wounds

Three men were taken to hospital - one in a serious condition - after an incident in Dunkirk Street about 3.30 this morning.

A fourth man with stab wounds turned up at the hospital soon after.

Two men have since been discharged.

Police are carrying out a scene examination today.

They'd like to speak with anyone who saw or heard anything in the area in the early hours of this morning.
