Australia will be without their captain for netball's Quad Series

Australia will be without their captain for netball's Quad Series

Caitlin Bassett will miss the tournament, due to kick-off in Liverpool tomorrow, after sustaining a minor fracture to her left forearm during a practice match earlier this week.

The shooter will spend six weeks in a splint and is expected to recover in time to play in the Australian domestic season opener.

Kiera Austin has been elevated into the Diamonds squad and will travel to England to join the team.
