Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua sees Laura Langman as the perfect person to lead the team at the netball World Cup in England

Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua sees Laura Langman as the perfect person to lead the team at the netball World Cup in England

The veteran midcourter has maintained her captaincy portfolio after being reinstated by players and management until after the July tournament.

Langman was first named captain late last year when Taurua took over the Silver Ferns.

Taurua says the thing that stands out about Langman is she's always committed to the cause.

She says Langman will do what she needs to, to win and perform and is very dedicated to winning the World Cup.

Former skipper Casey Kopua will be Langman's vice-captain, but only for the upcoming Northern Quad Series.

The Silver Ferns play England tomorrow morning in Liverpool.
