Car enthusiasts and schoolmates turned out for the funeral of a young teen killed in a police chase

Thirteen-year-old Brooklyn Taylor was farewelled today by a crowd of more than a hundred in Christchurch.

Brooklyn and two of his friends - Craig and Glen McAllister - were killed a week ago when their car crashed after fleeing police.

Brooklyn's funeral was well attended by car enthusiasts - some of who turned up riding in the windows of souped-up cars.

Others came with dirt-bikes strapped on to the back - but many more who came were Brooklyn's many friends and school-mates.
