A resident near Queenstown's Shotover Jet - says it's been blowing harder than usual.
Police are investigating - after a willow tree fell at the base, injuring members of a foreign family - two critically.
Jimbo Paterson, whose Mangy Moose Lodge overlooks the jetboats - says it's been gusting up to about 50-knots.
He says he can see big poplars bending over - and hopes they don't go, too.
