    Matt Walsh bought the Breakers for the long term and not immediate success


    The North Shore club is languishing in second to last on the Australian basketball league table and now likely to miss out on the playoffs.

    Walsh says the season's been frustrating and they haven't given up on it yet, but he didn't invest in the side with a one and done attitude.

    He says he knows there will be seasons where they don't get where they want to.

    The Breakers look to keep their slim playoff hopes alive against the Cairns Taipans in New Plymouth from 7.50pm.
