KidsCan expects to be feeding around 30,000 children a week, once school resumes

It says in low-decile schools, around one child in five is arriving at school hungry.
Kidscan chief Julie Chapman says by providing food, the charity is giving them a better opportunity to lift themselves out of the material hardship cycle.
She says it is an investment in a child's future and we can't let them go to school hungry and without basic supplies.
