A taste for helicopters among Auckland's rich and famous is coming under fresh scrutiny
2 February 2019
Auckland Council has confirmed it's looking into a complaint of helicopter activity, at a 29 million dollar home on O'Neills Avenue in Takapuna.
The complainant - who does not want to be named - says a shiny black machine has flown into and out of the property twice in the past month.
The Council says it's investigating to determine what activity is taking place and whether any rules have been broken.
A family member at the address told the Herald they weren't aware of any choppers coming or going, but had seen one landing at a neighbouring property.
