Restaurant owner Tony Crosbie has opened the doors to his Richmond business, Armadillos, to feed the volunteers fighting the Tasman fire

Mr Crosbie says he had to do it when he saw how bad the blaze was at 10 this morning .
It's not the first time Mr Crosbie has fed volunteers - he's previously opened his Christchurch businesses during big fires in the Canterbury region.
