Christchurch's only no-kill cat shelter is asking for help to cover a 20-thousand-dollar vet bill
7 February 2019
Cat Rescue Christchurch has had its busiest month ever - taking on 129 cats and kittens for homing and desexing 50 more.
Managing director Beki Milligan says they'll never put a cat down unless a vet can't help its suffering.
She says they run a trap, neuter, release program for cats too wild to rehome - but it comes at a cost.
Milligan says people can help by donating - but also by fixing their own pets.
