Black Sox coach Mark Sorenson sees nothing but positives in the current state of softball in New Zealand

Black Sox coach Mark Sorenson sees nothing but positives in the current state of softball in New Zealand

The Black Sox and the Black Sox "B" team competed at the Challenge Cup over the weekend, with the first team losing to Japan in the final.

Sorenson says looking at the performance of the B team as well as the national side, there's plenty to be pleased about with all concerned.

He says they have good coaches at the helm of the B team, so there's plenty of depth there as well as players.

The Black Sox now turn their attention to the softball World Cup in four months time.
