Another two pets have fallen victim to the phantom cat shooter plaguing the rural Rotorua village of Mamaku

Another two pets have fallen victim to the phantom cat shooter plaguing the rural Rotorua village of Mamaku

One cat was shot in the face and the other in the leg - but both have survived.

Earlier victims have not been so lucky - with a number of pets killed.

The SPCA is seeking help from the public to find who is behind the shootings - which began late last year..

Animal welfare inspector Talia Jenkins says all the shootings, with a high powered slug gun, appear to be related.
