The 36 year old has fronted media for the Blues this afternoon for the first time since signing with the Super Rugby side after three seasons in Europe.
He says while the World Cup is on everyone's minds, so to is winning a first Super Rugby title.
England cricket captain Joe Root has suggested West Indies bowler Shannon Gabriel said something he "might regret" during an on-field exchange.
Root appeared to tell Gabriel "there's nothing wrong with being gay" while batting on day three of the third test in St Lucia.
Gabriel's part in the conversation was inaudible, but the paceman was spoken to by at least one of the on-field umpires.
Bangladesh accept they will be heavy underdogs in the one-day international series against the Black Caps.
