A checkpoint in the region has caught 25 drivers using their cellphone behind the wheel in just over an hour.
Today police are launching a campaign to bring awareness to the dangers of using your phone while driving.
Sergeant Laurence Vautier says they'll be rolling out social media posts and stricter monitoring of cellphone use.
Drivers caught on their phones can expect an 80-dollar fine and 20 demerit points.
