Surprise from a legal expert that local councils haven't taken action against Lime Scooters

In the past five months, the Accident Compensation Corporation has paid more than 560-thousand-dollars to injuries caused by electric scooters.
An Auckland man broke his jaw last Friday after a Lime e-scooter locked up, sending him flying over the handlebars.
Buddle Findlay partner, Tony Dellow says relevant councils should be concerned with the volume of injuries caused by electric scooters.
He says the councils could revoke any authority they've given to Lime to operate the scooters.
