    Fire investigators are working to find what caused a fire in Auckland's Kingsland this afternoon


    More than 30 firefighters battled the blaze at a house on New North Road this afternoon.

    Area commander Vaughan Mackereth says one person is unaccounted for, but it's not believed they were home.

    He says the fire is contained.

    Neighbours say the owner of the house had recently died.
