NZTA denies homes are being damaged, by the 268-million dollar project to add new lanes to the motorway.
But one Conifer Grove resident says their home has 500-thousand dollars of damage, which an engineering report has connected to the roadworks.
So far, 22 homeowners have complained to the agency, from Conifer Grove, Manurewa East, Pahurehure, Karaka and Totara Heights.
Twenty-five have registered for a potential class action, over cracks in walls and ceilings.
